1. Information We Collect

When you create an account or event on SnapVow, we collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and event details. When guests upload photos, we store the image files and basic metadata needed to organize your gallery.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the SnapVow service, process payments, send event-related communications, and ensure the security of your account. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Photo Storage & Privacy

All uploaded photos are stored securely using industry-standard encryption. By default, EXIF metadata (including GPS location) is stripped from uploaded images to protect guest privacy. Photos are only accessible to the event organizer unless sharing is explicitly enabled.

4. Data Retention

We retain your photos and event data for the duration specified by your plan (30 to 365 days). You can download your photos at any time during the retention period. After the retention period expires, photos and associated data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services for payment processing (Stripe), file storage (cloud storage providers), and analytics. These services have their own privacy policies and handle data in accordance with their terms.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time. You can manage your account settings from your dashboard or contact us for assistance. If you wish to delete your account entirely, all associated data will be permanently removed.

7. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, please contact us at privacy@snapvow.com.
